(Some of these bios haven't been updated since the spring of 2002, I tried to note the ones that bounced. Please try and send me your updated info!

The best way to find an LRY these days is Facebook. I use it daily. Although this directory is now low-tech, it is still a valuable way for all LRYer’s names and mini-bios to be viewed in one place.)

* JOHN ALEXANDER (Sacramento)chugalugger@mac.com New cell:1-813-967-0250 Now Plant City, FL (near Tampa). Married twice, 4 boys out of the deal. Ex in Gilroy, two oldest boys moved on. I own a small flatbed trucking outfit, and dabble in commercial real estate development. I suppose I have turned out to be a middle aged southern country boy. The first re-union was fantastic! But one fateful day he was lured into the Broadcasting department, and he has not so much as dipped his toes in a pool since.

Onward he went, not to Top 40 stardom, not to write "Bluer Than Blue", but on to...public radio! He's remained there for the past 19 years, producing international eclectic music programs, and teaching others how to produce their own radio programs while he wandered the world, pointing his trusty microphone at Native American teepees, Central American civil war survivors, SF Bay Area residents, the occaisional relative, and just about anything or anyone that wouldn't run away from him.

Somewhere in all of that excitement, he met a German woman in an Irish Bar, in a California City, married her and 3 years ago, while they weren't looking, a child was born, with a great sense of humor, built in multi-language capacity, and a curious affection for the song Pinch Me, by "The Bare Naked Ladies."

(To make it easier for the serious LRYer to surf and to save hours on web maintenance, the list on this particular site contains only people who went to at least three out-of-town conferences during 1974 and 1975.)

We hate to say this: This is a privately owned site. There were just a couple people who took advantage of LRY's openness and ripped people off. We forgive you, but we reserve the right not to list you in the directory and don't want to spend the afternoon with you.
